BIW Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Antonio Mercado is currently Faraday Future's BIW Manufacturing Engineering Manager; leading Advanced and Simultaneous Engineering Activities for its first model: FF91; designed production lines and technologies for adhesive, SPR, RSW, and some other technologies. In 2006 he joined Toyota in Mexico, after that, he was transferred to Toyota Engineering and Manufacturing in Canada, and USA leading and participating in many new model introductions. Some of those models include: Tacoma, Corolla and Camry. Challenges such as UHSS introduction and IIHS standardized and more strict tests, have exposed him to new steels and architectures.
